Plot

Rich Ajax Bullion (Emory Parnell) took up arms when his eccentric wife (Tyler Tired) who came happily informed him that he wanted to adopt a refugee, the latest socio-political movement. To top it off, she has a severe toothache. His wife insisted he go to the dentist so he could prepare the nursery.

The Stooges is a window washer that works on scaffolding outside of tall buildings. Moe and Larry use the rope to pull Curly back onto the scaffolding. Moe then orders Curly to continue the work. He obliges but throws a bucket of water in an open window, and water splashes all over the dentist's office. At about the same time, the dentist (Richard Fiske) arrives to see the chaos. He then left after threatening to fire them. That's when Moe ordered Larry and Curly to dry the floor.

Mr. Bullion meets an incompetent windowwasher (which he mistakes for a temporary dentist) when he enters the office demanding medical attention. They make her cold when she asks for drugs, then try to find bad teeth. After pulling the bridge fully ("You take off the gear!", Larry's comment), they try to put it back in their mouth with cement. However, the cement hardens before they have a chance to put the teeth back, so they decide to blow up. The dentist arrives back at his office when dynamite is turned on. He called Stooges, who watched him and fled. Dynamite exploded and Mr. Bullion wakes up, realizing that the pain in his teeth is gone. He returns to his car and sees Stooges hiding inside. He asks what they are doing, and Moe says that they are "refugees." Mr. Bullion then had a very bad idea to free his wife from his philanthropic idea: pass these three nitwits as refugee children.

Mrs. Bullion is naturally delighted to see Stooges, who is dressed as a child. Moe and Curly are in a great sailor's suit, while Larry dressed like a girl in a dress with a big bow on her head. Mr. Bullion called them Johnny (Moe), Frankie (Curly), and Mabel (Larry). The Stooges then stayed with the Bullions until Mrs. Bullion decided to throw a party to introduce his wealthy friends to his new refugees.

Mrs. Bullion finally regretted their adoption during the feast in her honor - and Mr. Bullion began to regret blending this scheme from the start. The celebration was interrupted when an angry Mr. Bullion chased Stooges with an ax.

Adopting refugees from European countries was a common event among the people during World War II.
