Cat Aegean (Greek: ???? ???????? gÃÆ'¡ta tou AigaÃÆ'ou ) is a natural landrace of domestic cats originating from the Greek Cycladic Islands. This is considered a natural cat, developing without human intervention. The development of Aegean cats as an official breed began in the early 1990s by a breeder in a newly grown Greek cat, but the variety has not been recognized by any large breeder and breeder organization. This is considered the only genuine type of cat.

Characteristics of Aegean cat

An Aegean cat is a medium-sized, muscular, semi-long cat. This coat is colored bicolour or tricolor with one color that is almost always white. White usually takes between 1/4 to 9/10 of the body. The color of their coats may include many colors and other patterns. Their claws are medium size and have a round shape. The ears have broad base and rounded edges and are covered by hair. The eye has an almond shape and the color can be green, blue and yellow.
