Buckner International is a non-profit International Christian charity organization. Founded as a Baptist organization, he maintains contact with the Baptist General Convention of Texas, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and the Baptist World Alliance even though he works with individuals and organizations of all denominations and religions. AS. Foster Care & amp; Adoption
Since the founding of the organization, serving the children of Texas has been a major mission. Buckner International is a private adoption agency licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. It provides domestic and international adoption services, foster care and support services. It provides services to over 2,000 people receiving pre-adoption services and 1,000 people receiving post-adoption services.
US. Family Outreach
TRAIL & amp; Buckner PAL program helps young people transition from foster to independent life. Buckner Family Place and Buckner Family Pathways provide single mothers with affordable housing and support while seeking higher education. The "Mi Escuelita" program focuses on teaching English as a second language for at-risk children from diverse backgrounds. Organizations also often coordinate medical mission trips and disaster relief when needed.
International program
Buckner's main international ministry is "Shoes for the Orphan Soul". Providing new shoes and socks for orphans and risky children in need in 68 countries around the world since 1999, has distributed over two million pairs of shoes and socks to children around the world. Buckner also operates a number of international community programs aimed at preserving the family and keeping them intact.
