Ann M. Williams (born 1968) is a Democrat of the Illinois Representative Council who has represented the 11th District since 2011. The district covers the Chicago neighborhood of West Lakeview, Roscoe Village, and the Northern Center, as well as parts of Lincoln Park and Lincoln Square.

Education and career
Williams received a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Iowa in 1992 and J.D. from Drake University in 1994. As a lawyer, he served as Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois office of Attorney General Lisa Madigan.

Country Representative
Williams was elected for his first term as Illinois District 11 state representative in 2010 to succeed John Fritchey who chose to run for the Cook District BoC. Williams is supported by both major Chicago newspapers. The Chicago Tribune noted in his support that "Glad to see that he believes party leaders should not be excluded from the new campaign's contribution hat imposed on others." The Chicago Sun-Times called it "intelligent and meticulous" and noted his work for Attorney General Lisa Madigan and as a staff attorney for a country house. Williams is focusing its campaign to protect women and children from sex offenders, striving for greater access to affordable health care, and making governments open and accountable to people. The duties of his Committee include the Judiciary I - Civil Law; Consumer protection; Adoption Reform; Business Work Permit; Environmental Health; and the Government Operations Subcommittee.
Williams won re-election for a second term in 2012. He ran unhindered in 20 primary Democrats and was not blocked in an election, which took place on November 6, 2012. Williams was re-elected for a third term in November 2014.
Political position
Williams is a pro-choice and supports the legalization of same-sex marriage. He is a co-sponsor of a legalized legal bill in Illinois. Williams is the only Chicago lawmaker at Illinois House to vote against a bill backed by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel that allows speed detection cameras near schools and parks across the city.
